Crown Hotel PDF Print E-mail

On 21st April 2010 shutters were put up at the Crown Hotel.  Literally the whole place was battened down by having the windows and doors boarded up.  This seems to be because the owners, Punch Taverns, have been unable to find a new manager over the past 6 weeks or so since the last people left.

Many people have commented on this.  The Community Council has reported the issue to Stirling Council and contacted Punch.  The customer service desk were not particularly helpful so we have now written to Punch.  Here is a copy of the letter.

A petition was raised in the Village Store and over 100 people signed it.

GREAT NEWS On Tuesday 4 May the boards were removed
